Polynucleotides are the latest in skin booster technology. Created by taking genetic strands from salmon, they are injected into the skin to increase hydration, improve dark circles under the eyes, reduce fine lines, minimise scarring and generally improve the tone and texture of the skin.
What are Polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides are the latest in injectable skin booster - you may have seen them in the media over the past few months as everyone's talking about them! They are made up of long chains of highly purified DNA taken from salmon and are injected directly into the skin to repair it at a cellular level.
How do Polynucleotides work?
As we age, a lot of the processes in our cells slow down. This includes the process by which our skin produces collagen and elastic, which keeps it looking youthful, firm and plump.
When polynucleotides are injected into the skin, they actually communicate with our skin cells and jumpstart these processes once more. The fibroblast cells are stimulated - these play a crucial role in collagen production. As more fibroblast cells are created, more collagen is produced and the overall quality of the skin is significantly improved. Skin tone and elasticity is restored and, because the polynucleotides also have a hydrating and anti oxidant effect, the skin also looks and feels much healthier.
Where can be treated using Polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides are particularly effective for treating dark under eye circles. They can also be used to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles - such as those found around the lips and eyes. Polynucleotides can also be used to improve the overall tone and texture of the skin, resulting in rejuvenated, radiant skin.
How much do Polynucleotides cost?
Treatment with Polynucleotides is priced at £225 per session.
