Lipofirm is back for 2019!
Those of you who have known us for a long time are probably aware that our Director, Alison, loves to stay at the forefront of the beauty industry and is constantly researching the latest new treatments and machines on the market. A particular area that Alison has always been interested in is body sculpting and fat reduction treatments, especially those that claim to improve cellulite.
As you may remember, over the years, we have offered a number of “body” treatments, such as laser lipo, cryotherapy and, of course, we now have our fantastic Venus Freeze machine. However, back in 2017 we trialled Lipofirm, and it quickly became a firm favourite (excuse the pun!) amongst both staff and clients. We are so thrilled to announce that we have made the decision to bring Lipofirm back to Woodlands as a permanent treatment.This a machine that we truly believe in and, as such, Alison has made a considerable investment in order to bring it back to Woodlands. If you didn’t get to experience it the first time around, you’re in for a treat! Lipofirm uses triple action TriLipo technology, which yields maximum fat removal, lymphatic drainage and skin tightening. TriLipo technology consists of deep Radio-Frequency heating, combined with internal muscle contraction and external mechanical force. When the RF energy is applied to the skin, heat is generated in both the dermal and subcutaneous layers of the skin, which accelerates fat metabolism, encouraging the body to release liquid fat from the fat cells. Meanwhile, the machine uses Dynamic Muscle Activation (DMA) to stimulate the muscles to contract. This, combined with the mechanical pressure from the Lipofirm applicator, encourages lymphatic drainage, which essentially forces the liquid fat to be released from the body as waste.
