Cheap & Cheerful?
There are lots of excellent, reputable aesthetic clinics out there, and we understand that people like to shop around and find a good price, but please remember that if something is too good to be true, it normally is.
Unfortunately, the aesthetics industry is currently not very well regulated and while there are plenty of clinics and practitioners who are doing things correctly, there are lots of others who aren't. There are people out there doing treatments who don't come from a medical background, who haven't had suitable training and who aren't experienced enough. There are also people who are using products that have not come from a reputable pharmacy or manufacturer.
Last week, we treated a lady who had previously been a patient of ours, but had gone to someone else because they were much cheaper. She came back to Woodlands so that we could correct her face.
When you come across a clinic or practitioner offering an extremely low price, please take a moment to think about WHY this treatment is so cheap. What product are they using? What is the practitioner's background? Don't be swayed by a cheap price alone, there are several other factors to take into account when you are considering any kind of aesthetic treatment.
